The Honorable Glenn R. Croshaw Senior Affiliated Consultant Kemper Consulting, Inc. Mr. Croshaw holds a B.S. degree from East Carolina University and a J.D. degree from the University of Virginia. Mr. Croshaw has enjoyed a long and distinguished career in state government. He represented the City of Virginia Beach in the Virginia House of Delegates for fourteen years. During his tenure in the General Assembly, he served on the budget-writing Appropriations Committee, the General Laws Committee, the Committee on Labor and Commerce, the Nominations and Confirmations Committee and the Privileges and Elections Committee. Furthermore, Mr. Croshaw was appointed by the Speaker of the House to serve on the General Assembly's powerful Joint Legislative Audit and Review Commission. He also chaired numerous subcommittees and study commissions involving complicated legislative initiatives. In 1992, Mr. Croshaw was named National Legislator of the Year by the National Child Support Enforcement Association. He was also named Delegate of the Year twice by the Virginia Sheriffs' Association, Delegate of the Year by the Virginia Fraternal Order of Police in 1994, and Legislator of the Decade by the Coastal Conservation Association in 1999. In the course of his legal practice, Mr. Croshaw has represented numerous clients before many state government entities including the Virginia Marine Resources Commission, the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality, the Virginia Real Estate Board, the Virginia State Bar, the Virginia Board of Medicine, and the Virginia Board of Optometry. Mr. Croshaw serves on the board of the Tidewater Automobile Association of Virginia, Inc., the Old Dominion University Research Foundation Board of Trustees and is a former Commissioner of the Tidewater Transportation District Commission (now known as Hampton Roads Transit). He is a fellow of the American College of Mortgage Attorneys and the Virginia State Chair for the College, and a member of the Litigation, Administrative Law and Family Law sections of the Virginia and American Bar Associations. |
